About this event

The 17th Annual Gimme Some Truth Documentary Festival returns November 5-8 with new and restored local, Canadian, and international documentary shorts and features. We are also excited to host another year of the Gimme 10 in 30! Documentary Challenge! This year’s edition explores the importance of interconnection as a radical act of surviving the current moment, highlighting the significance of community. These films interrogate the threshold between documentation and dream, survival and spirit, reminding us that documentary is an act of reimagining the world as it might yet become.
