This 10-week series explores the grounded, fluid world of fusion floorwork alongside the art of balancing props. We'll combine strength, control, musicality, and expressive movement to create a dance practice that's equal parts technique and attitude. We'll start by building the foundations of floorwork, including conditioning exercises to develop the strength, mobility, and body awareness needed to move confidently closer to the ground. As the session progresses, we'll explore transitions, pathways, and movement combinations before introducing the art of balancing — with opportunities to work with baskets, trays, and even swords!
