Design and create a beautiful summer-themed glass plate! Are you ready for summer? Think of the cottage or a scene by the lake. Millean Kung will guide you through creating a 6” x 6” plate made entirely of glass. You will learn about the various types of glass, glass tools, and techniques used. All materials will be provided. This course welcomes beginners. Please note: Participants’ creations will be fired off-site and will be ready for pick up in about 4 – 6 weeks. Saturday, August 8, 1 to 3 p.m. Public $115, TBG Members $110 (plus applicable taxes and fees) About Millean Kung Born and raised in Toronto, Millean discovered pottery and glass art more than 10 years ago. Currently, she is a member of the of the Potter’s Studios in Scarborough and is involved in the Small Business Arts Mentorship Program at Glasstronomy Studios in Markham.
