Most of what this industry is proud of never happened at a trade show. It happened in someone's backyard at dusk, or on a job site at 6 AM, with people who cared about getting it right. First Light is a room built for those people.

On Wednesday, October 21, during Equip Expo week, we're gathering at Rabbit Hole Distillery in Louisville. Bourbon, a good meal, a tour of the distillery, and a room full of contractors, designers and owners. That night we're founding the First Light Fellowship, built to protect the craft of this industry and pass it to the next generation. No tuition, no course, no sales pitch. The rest gets said in the room.

First Light is founded with Atlantic Oase, Green Foundry Co., Lumien, National Planter Supply and WAC Lighting.

A word on seats. The room holds 120, and every request is reviewed personally. We want the right people in the room, not the most people. Requesting a seat doesn't guarantee one, and we'd rather say that now than disappoint anyon
