David Pelinen, also known as Abide, began dancing in 1998 as a high school student in Minneapolis, MN. What started as an exodus from martial arts to a fascination in dance, turned into a passion, became a profession, and has continued to bring knowledge, hope, joy, and peace to many. As a performer Abide has danced on stage in theaters, arenas and block parties with names such as KRS One, Justin Timberlake, DJ Premier, Vanilla Ice, Naughty By Nature, and others. As a creative collaborator his legacy will include the 612 Crew (NBA/WNBA performance team), House of Dance Twin Cities (Minnesota's first dance school dedicated to teaching Hip Hop arts and dance), Pulse Twin Cities 2018 (national conference held at US Bank Stadium), Superbowl LII Halftime Show (at US Bank Stadium), and a strong connection to local artists and organizations here in the Twin Cities of MN.
