Fashion Show: Superheroes Undercover

Some Superheroes don’t wear capes. They look like us, but each one carries an extraordinary story that makes them exactly that: a superhero. Join us for Superheroes Undercover, a fashion show celebrating the refugee women of the Sewing Hope Program by Newbornlander. These women have rebuilt their lives in St. John’s with courage, hope, and resilience. Come see their stories and the garments they created, take the stage. Dress code: wear black, along with an accessory or piece of clothing that represents your heritage. It’s a way to spark conversation and share our roots. This is a free event but does not include access to the galleries. This is primarily a standing event, with a limited number of seats available. Presented in partnership with Newbornlander
