Explore Newfoundland En Plein Air EXHIBITION OPENING — Friday, November 13, 2026, 7:00 pm Show runs until December 4, 2026 Peter Lewis Gallery | Explore Newfoundland En Plein Air Twenty canvases. Countless kilometres. So many stories. This September, Peter and I travelled through some of Newfoundland’s most beautiful and remote South Coast communities, capturing the rugged coastline, dramatic landscapes and ever-changing light. From climbing hills with painting equipment to navigating ferries, unpredictable weather and fading daylight, every painting has a story behind it. We’ve put together a blog sharing the journey, the challenges and the unforgettable scenery that inspired Peter’s latest body of work. This work and work done on the Northern Peninsula in July will be part of the exhibition.
