A student-turned-educator at the Art Academy of Cincinnati, Harper’s use of vibrant color and “minimal realism” transform seemingly simple images of animals and nature into deeper explorations of the relationship between wild spaces and human development. Participants will enjoy dinner, a presentation by the museum’s Curator of American Paintings, Sculpture, and Drawings Julie Aronson, PhD, Curator, free access to the exhibition, and guided art-making experience inspired by the exhibition.
