Emergency Response - Volunteer Information & Training Session

When disaster strikes, safe and stable housing matters more than ever. The Emergency Response Program is an initiative to strengthen our community’s ability to respond when emergencies happen. In partnership with Ontario Corps, we are building a team of local volunteers who can assist with recovery efforts following flooding, wind damage, extreme weather and other emergencies. Our Emergency Response volunteers will have the opportunity to learn hands-on remediation skills, participate in recovery efforts, and gain valuable training that can prepare them to deploy across Ontario as part of Ontario Corps. Join us for this Volunteer Information & Training Session to learn more about the program, what Emergency Response volunteers do, and how you can get involved. There will also be a brief, hands-on training portion included in this session to introduce participants to emergency response skills and preparedness! No previous emergency response experience is required! Come learn, and help u
