An inventor’s unfinished creation lives alone in a gothic mansion on a hill, with scissors in place of hands. When a kind Avon lady brings him down to her pastel suburban neighbourhood, Edward’s gentle spirit and extraordinary talent for hedge sculpting and hairstyling win over the neighbours, until fear and suspicion turn the town against him. Featuring an all-star cast of Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, and Dianne Wiest, this film is funny, strange, and unforgettable!
