Tech Wednesdays is Edmonton's weekly meetup for people who build things and people who want to get into tech.

Software, hardware, startups, side projects, research, whatever. Every Wednesday, no exceptions, this city's tech scene gets in a room and talks.

That's the entire event.

There is no format. Nobody presents. No keynote, no panel, no pitch competition, no sponsor table, no slide deck, no icebreaker games. You walk in, someone asks what you're working on, and you're in a conversation.

We leave the agenda out on purpose. Organizers of most tech events point everything at the stage: speakers, sponsors, rows of chairs facing forward. Then everyone tells you afterward that the hallway conversations were the best part. Tech Wednesdays is the hallway.
