Duke Quantum Center Tour

We are excited to announce that the Duke Quantum Center has invited the Quantum Computing RTP group for a tour of its facility on Tuesday, October 13, at 5:30 p.m. Located in downtown Durham’s Chesterfield Building, the Duke Quantum Center brings together physicists, engineers, computer scientists, mathematicians, and chemists to advance quantum information science—from hardware and software to algorithms and real-world applications. We will be in **DQC Suite 210 and the Lounge.**

Since launching in 2021, the center has grown from five to fifteen faculty members, expanded its work from trapped-ion quantum computers to neutral-atom processors and simulators, and collectively attracted more than $121 million in support from government, academic, and industry partners. Its researchers build on a legacy that includes demonstrating the first quantum logic gate and are now developing an open, reconfigurable quantum computing facility for researchers across disciplines.
