Drop-In Drawing with Anna Kaye

Unleash your inner artist in this monthly program held in the Denver Art Museum galleries, designed for older adults and welcoming for all ages and abilities. Take inspiration from your favorite artworks in the gallery with supportive feedback from artist Anna Kaye. ***Included in general admission, and drawing materials are provided.*** Join us in person on the first Tuesday of every month and experience the transformative power of art in a program that has enriched lives for over a decade. In November, we'll visit the exhibition "Storytellers: The Blackfeet Nation and Charles M. Russell" on level 1 of the museum's Hamilton Building. The exhibition features more than 80 artworks by Charles M. Russell alongside ancestral works from the Blackfoot Confederacy (Niitsítapi), exploring Blackfeet culture, traditions, and connections to bison while highlighting the influence of Indigenous knowledge on Russell’s depictions of the American West.
