About this event

Dick Clark's Nightmare is a five-piece new wave punk and rock and roll band from Lexington, Kentucky, featuring veteran musicians with roots in the regional music scene dating back to the early 1980s, including appearances at the legendary Jockey Club in Newport, Kentucky, a cornerstone of the region's punk and alternative music scene. Members have performed in Lexington area bands including Skullhead , Nine Pound Hammer, Bored and Dangerous, Groovezilla, G Funk All-Stars, Gnarly Love, The Hookers, The Hellbent Hearts, Frank Rocket, Third Heaven, and others. Influenced by bands such as The Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Dickies, The Jam, Devo, and The Dictators, Dick Clark's Nightmare draws from the classic new wave punk and rock and roll sound that shaped a generation.
