About this event

**“When there is no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth.”**

In George A. Romero's, *Dawn of the Dead*, the dead return to a shopping mall out of some residual memory of what they did while they were alive. They become dead consumers who continue performing the rituals of consumption even after the meaning of consumption has disappeared.

Join us for discussion of the history of the zombie film from 1932's, *White Zombie,* to the modern day, as well as a psychoanalytic investigation into why the dead don't die. All are welcome and no reading is required!
