The Calgary Geotechnical Society (CyGS) is excited to host Dr. Andy Take, PhD, P.Eng., Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at Queen's University, as part of the 2026 Cross-Canada Lecture Tour.
Dr. Take is an internationally recognized researcher whose work combines advanced sensing technologies, physical modelling, and innovative geotechnical engineering approaches to address complex challenges involving landslides, tailings dams, railway infrastructure, and climate change resilience.
This in-person event will be hosted at the Alt Hotel Calgary East Village – Indigo Room. No virtual option will be available for this presentation.
