Unused or expired prescription meds can lead to accidental poisoning, overdose, & abuse. Proper disposal saves lives & protects the environment. On October 24 10 am to 2 pm, dispose of them safely. The Anchorage Police Department will be on hand to accept prescription & over-the-counter pills, capsules, caplets, gel caps and medical patches, vitamins, pet medications & liquid medicine in original bottle. Please black out personal info on labels. Please, no needles & syringes, intravenous solutions, Epi
Pens and other injectables, inhalers, chemotherapy medications, illegal drugs or vaping devices. Location: Medical Office Building E in the outside drive-through on the east side of the building on our campus: Alaska Regional Hospital 1200 Airport Heights Drive, Anchorage, AK 99508.
