Why we picked it
Once gathered and introduced, we’ll set out along a scenic stretch of the East Coast Trail that follows the coastline as it opens to sweeping ocean views and quiet pockets of boreal forest. Along the way, your guide will offer a gentle introduction to foraging in Newfoundland as you explore how the rugged landscape, unique culture, and traditional foodways all dance with each other to create a story of Place. The place we call home. There will be time to pause, take it in, and connect with the landscape. Whether that’s watching for whales offshore, spotting seabirds along the cliffs, or simply noticing what’s underfoot. Partway through, we’ll settle in for a wild-inspired “mug up” – a little taste of the season we foraged along the way – before making our way back, carrying a deeper sense of connection and a few new ways to experience Newfoundland and Labrador. 2-3 hours Group size: 4 minimum | 10 maximum Easy, undulating, uneven terrain (~4km total) Includes a wild-inspired “mug up” F
