Charles Wesley Godwin has steadily become one of the most respected voices in country and Americana music since the release of his beloved 2019 debut, Seneca. Alongside his longtime band, the Allegheny High, the West Virginia singer-songwriter has earned a reputation as one of the genre's most powerful live performers, with recent highlights including a sold-out Red Rocks headline debut, dates opening Eric Church's Free The Machine Tour, and appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, CBS Saturday Sessions, and ESPN's Sports
Center. In 2026, Godwin released his fourth full-length album, Christian Name, his most personal and spiritually profound work to date. Written in the wake of unimaginable personal loss, the album explores grief, redemption, healing, and renewed faith across twelve deeply affecting songs. Featuring collaborations with Luke Combs on "Better That Way" and Wyatt Flores on "Hey There, Son," Christian Name builds on the acclaim of Family Ties.
