What if accessibility wasn’t something added to a game at the end, but a core part of great game design from the very beginning? Join Ray Anthony Peña, Lead UI Artist at Gearbox Software, and Eli Kinney-Lang, Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary and CEO & Founder of BCI Games, for a masterclass exploring how accessibility, interface design, assistive technology, and creativity can come together to make games more engaging and playable for everyone. Drawing on nearly a decade of games UX/UI experience across AAA, indie, and mobile projects, Ray will explore how accessibility can—and should—be approached with the same passion, creativity, nuance, and intentionality as any other game design feature.
