Join us to celebrate the First Friday of a beautiful fall season. On November 6th, from 6:00-8:00 P.M., 812 Royal Gallery will present a series of new oil paintings by New Orleans-based artist Carey Hero King in conversation with delicate intaglio casts from mother-and-daughter duo Intaglio & Co. A shared passion for capturing memories and history joins the creative practices of these artists, as well as a delicacy achieved through minute scale. The works of both Carey Hero King and Intaglio & Co. are breathtakingly small, inviting careful observation and presence. Together, this exhibition highlights the power of delicacy and how the smallest moments form the most impactful memories.
