About this event

Reflecting on the experience of being first on the scene of a tragic car accident in 2026, Natalie Maxson explores the ways we respond to suffering both individually and communally. Drawing on spiritual teachings from her Christian tradition, her experiences as a human rights advocate and on the front line with Indigenous land defenders, as well as her work as a clinical counsellor, Natalie will interrogate why some situations may compel us to act while others leave us feeling complacent. Presenter: Natalie Maxson // Worship Associate: Fae Shaw ***** ABOUT KELOWNA UNITARIANS Kelowna Unitarians is a liberal, religious, spiritual community; we take seriously our commitment to a free and responsible search for truth and meaning.
