Broadmead walk & doggie playtime

Why we picked it

Some time ago, Michele, one of our most loyal regulars, approached me about having a playtime session in her backyard. I thought that was a good idea, and after checking out her premises and working on a route we could walk, I'm pleased to announce that this idea will come to fruition this Saturday, July 4th! We'll meet in front of Michele's home in Broadmead (1113 Donwood Drive), and do our regular Small Dog Walk. As I was putting together this walk, I was surprised, and pleased, to discover that there are so many small parks in Broadmead. The 3.43 km route I've put together is made up of 1.92 km of forest or park trails, and 1.51 km of street walking. As we make our way around, we'll hit Faithwood Park, Parkwood Park, Autumnwood Park, and Broadmead Park, along with nice long stretches on the Rolston Trail and the Pheasantwood Trail. The walk should take us about an hour, after which everyone is invited to bring their pups into Michele's backyard for doggie playtime! Stay for 15 mi
