Each month Bluegrass Wednesdays begins with a 2 hour concert followed by a jam session. Concert goers are encouraged to bring your instruments and /or voices and join in for a post concert jam. The Monroe Sisters have been a cornerstone of Bluegrass Mondays since its inception. While the lineup has changed and expanded over the years, the focus is still the same.Centred around the female voices, they bring a fresh sound to the genre with both traditional and well chosen newer material - all supported by excellent instrumentation. With each member of the band singing lead, the audience is treated to a great variety of beautifully unique voices, harmony stacks, and song choices. The Monroe Sisters have become an audience favourite for their talent and fun performances.
