About this event

Bill Taylor & The Appalachian Heatherns: On the outskirts of Middlesboro, KY is where you will most likely hear the astounding voice of Bill Taylor on any given evening, while he's outside enjoying nature with his family. Bill was born and raised in Middlesboro with his 4 siblings. His parents were hard working people and gave Bill that , "rdquo" -> work hard for what you want" mindset. He always says , "rdquo" -> we were never rich, but daddy always made sure he gave us what we needed and we never did without". Bill's humble upbringing rings through in the writing that he does. His entire family is filled with truly gifted musicians, but Bill decided to step out into the spotlight with his gift and try to use what he says is his , "rdquo" -> God given ability". In his very short music career, Bill has already seen a lot of success. He has played some highly respected venues and has opened for several highly respected artist. As of recent, he is working on a project with several other notable musicians that will pay tribute to one of our Rock and Roll legends. He has also just released his debut EP , "rdquo" -> The Cumberland Ave Sessions" that has been given some high praise and is starting to gain traction in the country music world. Bill and his band the Appalachian Heatherns are a group that you are going to want to pay attention to in the future. Opening support by Sam Lewis: Sam Lewis has collaborated with everyone from Leon Russell to The Wood Brothers.

Chris Stapleton dubbed him , "rdquo" -> a modern Townes Van Zandt". He's often labeled withsome form of the word 'soulful' (some have even compared his voice to molasses), Lewis'style meets at a juncture of many different genres however he's discovered what mostmusicians spend lifetimes working for; the place where feel-good music meets vitalsocial commentary
