But what if it can also be understood as something more personal — a mirror through which to examine value, identity, freedom, and our relationship with the world around us? At September's meetup, author Roger9000 will be presenting on his new book, *The Beautiful Balance of Bitcoin*. Drawing on Jungian philosophy, Mayan mythology, medieval alchemy and the work of Joseph Campbell, Roger explores Bitcoin from a very different perspective: as a mythic and transformational force, and as a tool for examining the individual as much as the monetary system.
