About this event

A dialogue exploring forms of internalized racism within Chinese-speaking and East Asian diaspora communities in Canada.

From micro-aggressions to cultural prejudices, how do we navigate between our relationships to our heritage and traditions, and our own values and beliefs?

Perspectives from first-generation and 2nd generation speakers examine whether these issues are cultural, societal, or systemic—and how they can be addressed constructively.

This panel is part of Pancouver’s Beyond Chinese project:

A series of conversations highlighting the diversity of Canadians with Chinese ancestry.

Panelists:

Trixie Ling, Founder of Flavours of Hope
