About this event
Let's stay local to see fall colours at Beaver Creek Conservation Area. This is my favourite place in Saskatoon for fall colours and there should be sandhill cranes along the river. The trails are easy except for steep sections down to and up from the river, so poles would be helpful. We might be able to feed the chickadees along the way. We'll hike all of the trails, for a total of about 7 kms. Here is a map of the trails [BCCA_Pamphlet_10-4 (meewasin.com)](https://meewasin.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/BCCA-Pamphlet-9-4.pdf) We'll meet in the parking lot at Beaver Creek at 12 p.m. sharp. Beaver Creek Conservation Area is located approximately 13 km south of Saskatoon. Starting at Lorne Avenue, take Highway #219 south of Saskatoon. After about 12 km you will see a sign Beaver Creek East, do not turn here, continue past this sign about 1 km to a sign on the right reading "Beaver Creek Conservation Area." Turn right (west) and follow the winding road to the parking lot. Bring a snac
