About this event

MBTA Is Going to the Dogs. Join Us at Bark Street. The MBTA is teaming up with the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) to transform historic Park Street Station into "Bark Street" for an afternoon of four-legged fun! Join us on Thursday, October 29, from 4–6 p.m., outside Park Street Station as we celebrate Adopt a Shelter Dog Month with some special canine guests including dogs previously adopted through ARL. Meet the pups, learn about animals currently looking for their forever homes, and discover ways to support ARL through adoption, fostering, volunteering, and more. We'll also have opportunities to interact with dogs and fun giveaways. Whether you're passing through on your commute or stopping by specifically for the event, come celebrate our furry friends with us! Bark Street is also part of the MBTA's year-long celebration leading up to the 130th anniversary of America's first subway, which opened in 1897.
