About this Event
New Jersey students in grades 4 – 12, are invited to enter the Sickle Cell Association of New Jersey’s Student Research Poster Fair Contest. The purpose of the research contest is to engage the community in better understanding Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER). Participating in the research contest will give students the opportunity to conduct research, learn more about sickle cell disease (SCD), help raise awareness about SCD as well as become young advocates as they present the information gathered from their research.
All participating students will conduct research on the sickle cell related research topic listed below using reliable resources. After conducting research, each student will create a presentation poster board to present the information and explain their findings. Students should display their information ne
