Alaska's Wild Icons Winter Tour

Alaska's Wild Icons is a brand new tour offered this winter, fashioned after our popular Big Six tour which is offered in the summer season. Meet the zoo's megafauna - the charismatic wild icons, including species native to Alaska as well as the only cold climate big cats in the state. This tour is outdoors on our trails. We will make time and route adjustments based on cold weather and/or snow conditions. The tour is roughly 60-75 minutes, so come prepared to be outdoors. The tour will end at the Kape Espresso Tayo Zoo Coffee Shop, where you can warm up and buy a drink and snack. Weather guidelines: 10°F or warmer (normal outdoor tour). 10°F or colder (abbreviated tour).
