AFRIKAANS IS LEKKER JULY 25TH     5:30PM DOORS | ALL AGES A celebration of South African music in Canada. Every year we bring the best Afrikaans artists to Canada. 2026 is the first time that we will be including three of the best artists from South Africa. Kurt Darren, Elandre and Refentse will ensure that it is awesome night. Kurt Darren He is a South African singer, songwriter, and television presenter and known for his energetic live performances, unique dance moves, and a string of hits in both English and Afrikaans, including "Loslappie, Kaptein, Hop Hop Spinnekop” and more. He has won nine South African Music Awards (SAMA) and is sometimes referred to as the "Prince of Afrikaans music". Elandre Elandré Schwartz, also known as 'Elandré' (born in Despatch, Eastern Cape) is a South African musician.
