A Day in Toronto (extended version) !

Why we picked it

This is an extended version of last year’s “Day in Toronto”….plan is to meet at the Oshawa Go Station, with our bikes. We hop on the Go Train, ride on the Train to Rouge Hill Go Station where we disembark and hop on our bikes to ride in to Toronto along the waterfront trail. We will make several brief watering stops, and make our way eventually to the ferry terminal at Queen’s Quay where we will board the ferry, to Ward Island. Once on the islands, we will head towards the far end, and reboard the ferry at Hanlan’s Point. We will make a stop in Centre like and the long Pier that juts out into Lake Ontario. Propose a dinner stop at Amsterdam Brewing Company. After dinner we make our way to Queen Street East on the Queen Street car, and join the crowd at the Toronto Beaches Jazz Festival Street Fest. This is an open air streetfest, with multiple bands performing along the length of Queen Street. At the conclusion of the streetfest, we head back to Union Station, where we reboard th
