About this event

Trans stories and trans joy are essential to trans liberation, and we’re thrilled to present a second edition of A Celebration of Trans Storytelling for this year’s festival. Gwen Aube (Missed Connections with Tall Girls), Casey Plett (On Community), Vivek Shraya (The Hystericals), Kat Simmers (Lily), and Kai Cheng Thom (The Shape Shifter’s Guide to Gym Class) will make their voices heard in this unapologetically queer show hosted by Pam Rocker.

Note from the artists: Kai Cheng and Vivek’s new novels explore emotionally powerful and socially charged topics, including prejudice, mental health, and violence. Audience members are warmly encouraged to take care of themselves and others as needed. No graphic descriptions of violence or injury will be included in this event.
