About this event

10. Patrick de

Witt in Conversation

Famed for his dark wit and eccentric, rollicking storylines, Patrick de

Witt is a favourite of the Festival. The bestselling author of The Librarianist and The Sisters Brothers joins us with one of his most raucous novels yet. Dodge City follows a young man on an amphetamine-fueled road trip across the United States, as he flees Los Angeles and the Vietnam War draft for the safe haven of Canada. DeWitt will discuss this anticipated book, as well as how he shines a light on the stranger aspects of human behavior, to equally hilarious and poignant effect.

Moderated by David Moscrop.
